Peace of Mind in the White Mountains

White Mountains, NH

SOLUTION

2 Redde R1 fuel cells

OUTPUT

60kWh per day

I love my Redde fuel cell generators. They run off of the propane that I already have delivered to my house, and they only use a tiny amount of fuel to keep my battery system charged when the solar panels aren't producing enough electricity.

Challenge

Solving for long-duration winter storms

Trevor H.’s family owns a home in the White Mountains region of northern New Hampshire. Their goal was to ensure continuity of power wherever they are in order to to maintain space heating and cooling, and functioning wifi so the home stays safe and connected at all times. The home already had solar panels and Tesla Powerwall batteries, but the batteries did not have sufficient energy storage to keep the home safe and comfortable through the long-duration storms that are common in rural New England, especially during the winter.

Solution

Peace of mind, no matter the weather

Adding two Redde fuel cell generators provided peace of mind to Trevor H. and his family. They can check the generators’ operation remotely through the app and are secure in the knowledge that their house is safe no matter the weather.
